Part of the Luabay Group of hotels, the 3 key Puerto Tahiche Apartments are situated around 50 metres from the Playa de Las Cucharas beach in the popular resort of Costa Teguise on the central east coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 14km north of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1986 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Puerto Tahiche complex has a total of 133 one and two bedroom self catering apartments that are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sub tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven and two electric rings, and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, four apartments have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, an on-site supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a gymnasium, sauna and squash court, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Puerto Tahiche Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
