The 2 key Matagorda Apartments are situated around 200 metres from the beach in the Matagorda district of the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The complex is approximately 6km south of the capital Arrecife, 2km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Matagorda Apartments complex has a total of 155 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom, self catering apartments, which are set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, oven, toaster, coffee pot and kettle, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, pay per view satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and a small furnished terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.
