The 3 star rated Hotel Floresta is situated around 200 metres from the beach, in the quiet Playa de Los Pocillos district of the otherwise lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 5km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2012, the modern low rise Hotel Floresta has a total of 242 one and two bedroom apartments, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst almost 2,000m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a lounge area with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 4 rooms at the Hotel Floresta have also been specially adapted for disabled guests and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a hard surface tennis court, a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Floresta also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
